What do you do when your Dad prefers to sleep in his daughter's bed, and not his wife's (who happens to be sleeping in the same room on a different bed)?
What do you do when your Mom doesn't protect you, because she is glad her husband (whom she hates) isn't going to come to sleep in her bed? What do you do when even your older sister doesn't protect you because she is glad its not her?
What do you do when your Mom is so insecure that she gets jealous when you are wearing a saree in front of your Dad (because the waist is visible!)?
What do you do when parents make every possible effort to destroy your self confidence and self respect, not just by insulting/taunting you, but also by criticizing you when talking to friends/neighbors/relatives?
What do you do when the parents continue to drive down your self confidence even after you are an adult and are not financially dependent on them?

In a country where even parents refuse to step up and protect their child from abuse, and where sometimes parents themselves abuse their child, people like you are probably the only hope for saving children from horrifying abuse!

Do have a question though, was the abuser ever prosecuted for the crimes? I think that the Indian laws are outdated/acrheaic when it comes to rape/child abuse etc
